Job summary

Zurich 56 Company Ltd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an API & Integration Senior Developer for the Asia Pacific region. In this role you’ll build and unit/integration test APIs and integrations as part of Zurich Edge Insurance Platform development.

Responsibilities include designing domain APIs, building microservices with REST/JSON, using Swagger and Postman, and integrating with AWS (S3, SQS). You’ll collaborate with internal/external teams, implement CI/CD and advocate agile/DevOps delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years programming experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with AWS services (S3, SQS).
• Strong REST/JSON API development skills.
• Familiarity with Swagger and Postman.
• Knowledge of design patterns and OO modelling.

Responsibilities

• Build and unit/integration testing of APIs and integrations.
• Design domain-centric APIs and microservices with REST/JSON.
• Build and test integrations.
• Create microservices using REST/JSON and asynchronous patterns.
• Document APIs using Swagger and Postman.
• Support CI/CD processes and collaborate with internal/external teams.
