Job summary

ZALORA Group in Malaysia is seeking a talented and strategic Senior Treasury Analyst to be based in Malaysia. As a key advisor to the Senior Treasury Manager, you will provide analytical and operational support to develop, optimize and execute ZALORA's cash and liquidity strategy.

Daily cash positioning, payment processing, supplier payments, payment strategy, bank account management and system optimization are core responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Financial management or accounting.
• 5+ years in treasury management / financial management with operational & analytical focus; SEA exposure preferred.
• Strong analytical and modelling skills.
• Attention to details and high-quality reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Daily cash positioning across entities and bank accounts.
• Process payments for all legal entities.
• Ensure timely supplier payments across markets.
• Optimize payment methods and channels to reduce costs and maximize efficiency.
• Maintain and update bank accounts with signatories and KYC requirements.
• Continuously improve treasury management systems and payment processes.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact with regional banking partners.
• Ensure proper documentation for treasury transactions.
• Support internal and external audit requirements for treasury operations.

Responsibilities

Daily Cash Positioning

Monitor and manage daily cash positions across all entities and bank accounts

Payment processing function for all legal entities

Supplier Payments

Ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier payments across all markets

Payment Strategy

Optimize payment methods and channels (TT, SWIFT, local clearing) to minimize costs and maximize efficiency

Bank Account Management

Maintain and administer all bank accounts, including signatory updates and KYC requirements

System Optimization

Continuously improve treasury management systems and payment processes

Bank Relationships

Serve as primary day-to-day contact with regional banking partners

Documentation

Ensure proper documentation for all treasury transactions

Audit Support

Support internal and external audit requirements for treasury operations

Policy Compliance

Ensure compliance with company treasury policies and procedures

Requirements

• Degree in Financial management or accounting
• 5+ years of progressive experience in an operational and analytical capability in treasury management / financial management. South-East Asia exposure preferred
• Strong analytical and modelling skills
• Attention to details, ability to achieve and maintain a high standard of reporting accuracy and oversight
• Ability to work in a high paced, demanding environment while effectively managing multiple priorities and responsibilities concurrently
• Excellent interpersonal skills
