Job summary

AIA Hong Kong and Macau is seeking a tester to implement test work based on user requirements, with responsibility for testing activities and collaboration across IT and business users.

The role requires a Bachelor degree in IT or related disciplines, strong SDLC knowledge, and experience with database testing. Opportunity to support SIT/UAT and contribute to quality across a major insurance platform.

Responsibilities

• Perform the testing activities.
• Research on new technique including automation/performance/cloud testing tools; support SIT/UAT as user request; monitor deliverables for security, compliance, and design quality.
• Weekly progress report of assigned tasks; discuss solutions/issues with the team; build trust with design, development and testing colleagues; clarify user requirements as needed.

About the Role

This position is to implement the test work based on user requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform the testing activities.
• Research on new technique including automation/performance/cloud testing tool Support SIT/UAT as user request Monitor all deliverables are aligned with security, compliance, and design principles through focus on quality Collaborate with IT and business users Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements.
• Weekly progress report of assigned tasks Discussion within team on the solution/issue found during the completion of assigned tasks Build trust with colleagues in design, development and testing team Understand user requirements and clarify if unclear Discussion with external counter parties on the solution/issues found during the completion of assigned tasks.
