Job summary

AIA Hong Kong and Macau is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to support information system needs within AIA Digital+. You will liaise with stakeholders, analyze requirements, and translate business needs into actionable IT solutions for mobile applications.

The role emphasizes agile delivery, user story creation, and collaboration with onshore/offshore teams to drive SIT/UAT and line up IT solutions aligned with user requirements. Prior experience in the insurance domain is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5 years or more BA experience on Mobile Application projects.
• Experience in Agile working model and user story writing.
• Knowledge of software development process including design and programming.
• Experience in working with onshore and offshore teams.
• Advanced ability to GAP analysis, process mapping, root cause analysis and requirements gathering.
• Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in Insurance domain is advantageous but not required.
• Testing management experience is a plus.

About the Role

Responsible for supporting specific functional / business areas in terms of information system needs

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Liaise with stakeholders to review, analyze, and evaluate business applications and user needs
• Perform requirements analysis, documents requirements, and revise existing system logic, business processes and workflows as necessary
• Identity business needs and define actions to improve the operation of IT systems
• Create user stories to manage requirements in Agile working model
• Manage internal stakeholders to drive SIT / UAT
• Line up application teams to come out with IT solution according to user requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• 5 years or above BA experience on Mobile Application related projects. Have experience in Agile working model and user story writing.
• Comprehensive knowledge of software development process, including software design and programming
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment (onshore and offshore)
• Advanced knowledge and ability to perform GAP analysis, process mapping, root cause analysis, risk analysis and requirements gathering
• Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Insurance Domain is advantageous but not necessary
• Having Testing Management experience is a plus
