Job summary

Brenntag Business Services Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a meticulous SAP Master Data Analyst to manage Material, Vendor and Customer records across the Asia Pacific region.

You will work with business users and IT to design and implement data solutions, lead data migration efforts, and monitor data quality to ensure adherence to master data governance. Responsibilities include maintaining data accuracy, supporting process improvements, training junior analysts, and documenting procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Business or related field.
• 3+ years experience in SAP or ERP systems.
• Experience in manufacturing or distribution or shared services is a plus.

Job description

Your Role

Perform transactional activities that enable regular addition of new records, update of existing records and marking of obsolete / duplicate records for deletion for all master data records.

Responsibilities

Maintaining SAP Master Data (covering Material, Vendor and Customer) based on the request submitted from requestors from Asia Pacific completed on a timely basis based on defined service levels. Conduct business requirements studies and participate design discussions between business users and technical teams. Lead special tasks/projects, such as acquisition integration, business process automatic etc. Assisting in data migration activities for importing legacy data into SAP in SAP template roll-out projects. Evaluating/monitoring data quality in SAP system, and drive cleansing activities to align with Master Data guidelines. Identifying continuous improvement on the master data processes, make recommendations that optimize business processes and improve other internal controls. Provide ongoing user support and training on master data forms and workflow to ensure master data is maintained accurately in SAP. Maintain up-to-date process documents and work instructions for the role. Provide training, evaluation and support junior analyst.

Your Profile

Skills Fluent command of English and Mandarin (written and spoken). Possess excellent attention to detail, excellent analytical, research and reconciliation skills. Strong problem solving skills – proactive approach to problems, with a focus on identifying clear solution. An independently team player, structure, mature and meticulous person. Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively, adhere to tight and established deadlines. Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams in a multinational environment.

Experience

At least 3 years proven working experience in SAP or other reputable ERP systems; good knowledge in supply chain/accounting and its processes; experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment industry or shared services experience is an added advantage.

Education

Bachelor Degree in relevant field (Accounting, Business, Administration or equivalent)
