Job summary

AIA Digital+ Malaysia is seeking a capable HRIT support professional to assist with Workday-based HR applications and regional HRIT processes. You will collaborate with the HRIT team to ensure smooth integration and system configuration, while aligning deliverables to global standards.

The role requires 2–3 years of regional experience, Workday exposure, and strong communication skills. The candidate should be prepared for extended hours when necessary and thrive in a team environment.

Qualifications

• University/college graduate in computer science or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of regional solution/system support experience.
• Exposure to Workday as a support function or end user.
• Workday configuration experience in Reporting/PRISM/Extend.

Responsibilities

• Support HR applications (Workday) and HRIT platform deliverables.
• Support HRIT Technical Lead & Manager on assignments.
• Manage integration and business mapping between Global HRIT Platform and related systems.
• Ensure solutions align with global standards and global solutions architecture.
• Perform system configuration and customization and handle Change Requests.
• Provide end-user support and raise HRIT platform proficiency.
• Assist in executing POCs for new Change Requests as needed.
• Coordinate with AIA colleagues or partners to ensure delivery of functional work.
• Drive enhancements to improve customer experience with cloud solutions.

Supporting mainly HR applications (Workday)

Supporting HRIT Technical Lead & Manager on work assignments.

Able to manage all aspects of the integration, business mapping between Global HRIT Platform and other related systems.

Ensure solutions are consistent with global standards and ensure global solutions architecture team is aligned.

Perform system configuration and customization.

Manages all assigned Change Requests and deliver according to the target resolution time.

Self-discipline and good deliverables to promote accountability and trust at work.

Support end users in system usage and assist in raising overall HRIT Platform proficiency in the end user base.

Support Manager in executing proof of concepts (POCs) for new Change Request when necessary.

Successful system and process integration, efficient SLA driven end-user support and communications.

Liaises with necessary AIA colleagues or business partners outside HRIT CoE to ensure delivery of the functional work as required.

Drive new or enhanced features to improve customer experience in using cloud solutions.

Contribute to the quality standards and continuous improvement of the HRIT SOPs including alignment of deliverables to business processes.

Job Requirements

University / College graduate in computer science or other relevant discipline.

2 to 3 years' relevant experience in regional solution/system support.

Has exposure in Workday as a support function or as an end user.

Has Workday configuration experience in Reporting / PRISM / Extend module.

Has experience in Java Programming is an added advantage.

Possess good analytical, communication, presentation and soft skills.

Able to write clearly and concisely and work within tight deadlines.

Able to work extended hours when necessary.

Possess personal attributes such as maturity, interpersonal skills, professional integrity and initiative, self-motivation.

Able to manage priorities and tasks and time efficiently.

Keen to learn, a team player and have good working attitude.

Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks.
