Job summary

ThunderSoft in Penang is seeking an experienced layout engineer to design analog/mixed-signal circuits, perform floorplanning, clock and power routing, and post-layout analysis. You will collaborate across teams to define layout methodology, ramp up quickly on tools and flows, and contribute to block/IP/chip integration activities in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in electrical/computer engineering, 3+ years in custom layout including mixed-signal design, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in custom layout design including mixed-signal design.
Experience with Cadence Virtuoso Layout Suite or similar EDA tools is a must.
Proven expertise in physical verification using LVS and DRC tools.
In-depth knowledge of CMOS process technologies.
Good understanding of analog and mixed signal layout fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Layout design of analog mixed signal circuit in accordance with project requirements and specifications.
Block level physical implementation including floor-planning, power distribution network, clock and signal routing, analog and mixed signal transistor level layout.
Post-layout circuit performance analysis.
Participation in block/IP/chip level integration activities.
Contribute to layout methodology and flow definitions.
Ramp-up quickly on tools, flows and methodologies.
