Job summary

Second Talent in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior AI & Automation Builder to own the full lifecycle from problem framing to deployed solutions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to decide automation scope, build AI-driven workflows, and deliver scalable, low-code orchestrations.

This hybrid role suits someone who can run discovery conversations like a BA/PM while coding like an engineer, with responsibilities spanning design, testing, deployment, and documentation readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5–8 years of professional software engineering with strong full-stack depth.
• Experience combining business analysis, product, or discovery with hands-on automation/AI building.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Single Task Owner for end-to-end initiatives from discovery to deployment and operational readiness.
• Lead discovery conversations with business stakeholders to uncover real operational needs.
• Design, build, and configure AI-driven automation: LLM-based workflows, AI agents, and low-code orchestration.
• Decide the right treatment for each problem (full automation, AI-assisted with human in the loop, or manual).
• Serve as the technical point of contact between Enterprise and Tech teams; review AI process maps before go-live.
• Set documentation standards for the wider team and review others' work before deployment.
• Help prioritize and triage automation requests across the business.
