Job summary

DigitAI in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an AI Automation Engineer to design, ship and own AI agents, automations and internal tools that replace manual work across the ecosystem. You will work directly with the CEO in a fast-paced environment, delivering production-ready systems with short cycles.

You will build and productise tools, own end-to-end delivery, and ensure reliability, auditing, and clear documentation. This is a hands-on, single-hire role with broad responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years building and shipping production software.
• Built something with large language models that goes beyond a single prompt and response.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or Supabase.
• You have shipped things people used, and you can show them.
• You move fast without being careless and defend your choices with logic.

Responsibilities

• Building and shipping AI agents and automations that replace manual work across multiple domains.
• Productising internal tools into publishable offerings for external use.
• Owns the build from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Maintain reliable scheduled and multi-step workflows with clear failure signals.
• Write documentation that another engineer can follow as a deliverable of the role.
