Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant SME experience.
• Experience handling full-set accounts independently.
• Experience liaising with banks, auditors, and financial institutions.
• Familiar with accounting software (SQL, UBS, Autocount, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of Malaysian tax compliance and statutory reporting.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Confident communicator with Management and external parties.
• Key role in supporting business expansion and funding initiatives.
• Stable and growing company with long-term career prospects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-set accounts (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, month-end and year-end closing)
• Prepare accurate monthly management reports, financial statements, and cash flow projections
• Monitor company budgeting, cost control, and financial performance
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian statutory requirements, tax regulations, and reporting deadlines
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and company secretary
• Coordinate payroll financial review and ensure financial accuracy
• Strengthen internal controls, financial SOPs, and documentation standards
• Assist Management in coordinating grant submissions and funding compliance
• Support Management with financial analysis and strategic decision-making
