Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE LTD in Johor Bahru is seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to manage full set accounting for a portfolio of clients in a hybrid role, with willingness to travel to Singapore when required.

You will handle day-to-day accounting, payroll, GST, tax compliance, and liaise with clients and interns; experience in cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and QBO is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accountancy or related discipline; 2-3 years working experience in accounting and financial.
• Audit experience and familiarity with cloud-based software such as Xero and QBO Online will be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and corporate services for a portfolio of clients.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure services are delivered accurately and on time.
• Prepare full sets of accounts, financial reports and other accounting-related deliverables.
• Support payroll, GST, tax and other compliance-related matters for clients.
• Respond to clients' accounting and audit queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Work closely with supervisors and clients to understand requirements and follow up on outstanding matters.
• Review accounting work and deliverables prepared by interns, providing guidance where necessary.
• Guide interns in completing their work and assist them with problem-solving.
• Support ad-hoc business, investment and consultancy projects.
• Assist with the implementation and integration of cloud-based solutions, including Xero, QBO, POS, inventory, payroll and OCR systems.
• Support business development activities and identify opportunities to provide additional services to existing and new clients.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned.
