Job summary

Hitachi eBworx Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to manage the full set of accounts and daily accounting operations in Malaysia.

You will prepare financial reports, perform reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end closings. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, at least 5 years' experience in end-to-end accounting, proficiency in SAP Business One and Excel, and knowledge of tax compliance.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Accounts Executive to handle full set of accounts and daily accounting operations. The role includes preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, handling payments and collections, managing month-end and year-end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

Manage full set of accounts, including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets and Bank Reconciliations.

Prepare monthly financial reports and perform month-end/year-end closing.

Ensure accounting transactions are recorded accurately and comply with accounting standards.

Handle supplier payments, customer collections and cash flow monitoring.

Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents and bankers.

Support finance-related projects and other duties assigned by management.

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent professional qualification.

Relevant working experience in accounting and finance.

Minimum 5 years of experience in handling full set of accounts independently.

Experience in month-end closing and preparation of management accounts.

Knowledge in SAP Accounting Software (SAP Business One) would be an added advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office application, particularly Excel.

Knowledge of tax compliance and statutory reporting requirements.
