Private Advertiser is seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to manage the full set of accounts, from general ledger to financial reporting. You will ensure accurate transaction recording, perform reconciliations, and oversee month-end and year-end closings.
Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of hands-on experience, strong accounting knowledge, and proficiency with accounting software and Excel. The role emphasizes accuracy, independence, and timely delivery of financial information.
Join our Finance team as a Senior Accounts Executive and play an important role in managing the company's financial operations from day-to-day transactions to full-set accounts and financial reporting.
Own the Full Set of Accounts
Manage the full set of accounts, covering General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Bank/Cash.
Ensure transactions are accurately recorded, properly supported and up to date.
Perform bank, balance sheet and inter-company reconciliations.
Take charge of month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports and account schedules.
Review financial information, identify variances and follow through on discrepancies.
Keep Cash Flow Moving
Monitor payables, receivables, and outstanding balances.
Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments and collections.
Work closely with internal teams and external parties to resolve accounting matters.
Be the Finance Control Champion
Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and company policies.
Support internal and external audits by providing accurate schedules and information.
Make Accounting Better
Look for opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Support improvements to accounting systems, controls and reporting processes.
Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably with hands‑on full‑set accounting experience.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Comfortable working with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Detail‑oriented, organised and confident in analysing financial information.
Able to work independently, manage deadlines and take ownership of responsibilities.
ACCA, CPA, MIA or equivalent professional qualification is an added advantage.
