Chuan Huat Industrial Marketing Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to join our Finance team. This full-time role manages the complete set of accounts, prepares financial statements, and supports audit and tax processes.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of financial accounting experience, ACCA/ICAEW or equivalent, and strong Excel skills. You will work with ERP and accounting software, ensuring accuracy and compliance while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts and general ledger entries.

About the role

Chuan Huat Industrial Marketing Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to join our Finance team in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our financial operations. As Senior Accounts Executive, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing key accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. This position is integral to supporting the company's financial planning, compliance, and strategic objectives.

What you’ll be doing

• Ability to handle a full set of accounts
• Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, journals, and account reconciliations
• Producing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
• Conducting account analysis and reconciliation to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment scheduling
• Ensuring compliance with financial reporting requirements and internal control procedures
• Liaising with external auditors and tax consultants to facilitate audit processes and tax filings
• Assisting in the preparation of financial reports for management review and stakeholder presentations
• Supporting the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and software
• Mentoring and supervising junior accounting staff, where applicable
• Identifying process improvements and recommending enhancements to accounting procedures

What we’re looking for

• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in financial accounting and reporting within a professional or corporate environment
• Professional accounting qualification or certification, such as ACCA, ICAEW, or equivalent recognised qualification
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and systems, with demonstrated experience in using accounting packages and enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions
• Comprehensive knowledge of Malaysian financial accounting standards, tax regulations, and reporting requirements
• Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining high standards of work
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications for financial analysis and reporting
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with integrity
• Ability to start immediately will be an added advantage
