Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking a seasoned financial professional to lead accounting functions and manage a team across large-scale projects in Malaysia. You will guide cross-functional efforts, develop project plans, and drive timely financial reporting.

The role emphasizes dashboard development, management reporting, audit support, and analytical modeling to identify issues and trends for leadership. Strong English communication and mentoring abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or professional qualification.
• 8+ years of experience, preferably in an accounting firm and/or MNC.
• Excellent communication skills & proficient in English.
• Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint etc). Oracle & SAP user knowledge is an added advantage.
• Exert knowledge of relevant accounting practices and principles.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skill.
• Strong time management and organization skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Advanced oral, written and presentation skills.
• Ability to train and mentor others.
• Results oriented, flexible, enthusiastic, self-motivated and a team player.
• Able to lead & work independently and communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff.
• Advanced business partnering skill.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team and large scale projects.
• Lead or guide others on cross-functional projects outside of their own department.
• Develops project plans and schedules, including requirements, tasks, work assignments, resources, milestones, review points and reporting of project status.
• Responsible for preparation of dashboard and management reporting.
• Assist Auditors by providing requisite supporting documents.
• Analyzes and prepares financial reports for leadership including identification of issues and trends.
• Develops models, designs report and gathers information from systems.
