Job summary

Nord Anglia Education Malaysia is seeking a confident accounting professional to ensure the integrity of the general ledger and lead timely financial close and reporting. You will coordinate AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, banking, tax and intercompany processes while strengthening controls and supporting planning decisions.

The role covers month-end close, journal postings, variance analysis, reconciliations, budgeting support, and audit coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Typically 3–5 years of general-ledger or financial accounting experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, especially Excel, and ERP systems (Dynamics NAV/Business Central).
• Experience with consolidation tools such as OneStream is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate month-end and year-end close timetables.
• Prepare journals for accruals, prepayments, payroll, depreciation and other adjustments.
• Review trial-balance movements and explain variances.
• Prepare balance-sheet reconciliations with supporting evidence.
