Job summary

FOZL Corporate Services (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an accounting professional to manage a portfolio of client accounts under supervision. You will handle account reporting, bookkeeping, and monthly payroll processing for multiple clients, with liaising responsibilities for government agencies and statutory filings.

The role requires a minimum Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting or professional qualification, 2-3 years in an accounting firm (fresh graduates welcome) and Mandarin proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting or professional accounting qualification.
• 2-3 years experience in accounting firm; fresh graduates welcome.
• Audit background welcomed.
• Experience in payroll processing and knowledge of EPF, SOCSO, MyTax Portal and Malaysian employment legislation is advantageous.
• Motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts with supervision from senior staff.
• Account reporting: maintain full set of accounts and prepare unaudited/audited financial statements for internal and client use.
• Book-keeping: record sales/purchases, expenses, capex, staff claims; monthly bank reconciliations.
• Handle client requests and feedback; liaise with government agencies as required.
• Ensure timely submission for tax and XBRL filing for clients.
• Process monthly payroll for clients and assist in statutory accounts like EPF, SOCSO, and MyTax Portal.
• Address clients' HR inquiries and provide updates on Malaysia's labor legislation and statutory changes.
• Drive business development to onboard external payroll clients.
