Job summary

FOZL Corporate Services (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. seeks a dynamic Auditor to join our Johor Bahru team. You will assist in client acceptance, conduct fieldwork, perform audit procedures, and maintain working papers in line with MIA/MFRS standards.

The role requires a Bachelor in Accounting or a recognised professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/MIA). Fresh graduates welcomed; 1 year audit experience preferred. English and Chinese communication skills are essential for client and counterpart interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or recognised professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent by MIA).
• 1 year audit experience preferred; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Good understanding of MFRS and audit practices is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Assist in client acceptance procedures, including risk assessments and preliminary analytical reviews.
• Conduct audit fieldwork in accordance with audit plans and methodologies.
• Perform audit procedures such as sampling, testing, and preparation of Audit Working Papers (AWPs).
• Identify audit issues, conduct research, and communicate findings with clients and engagement team members.
• Monitor engagement progress, ensure timely completion of tasks, and follow up on review notes.
• Maintain complete and accurate audit documentation in compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support the audit team in delivering high-quality services within agreed timelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Audit Manager or Partner.

We provide comprehensive corporate advisory and support services, including accounting, taxation, audit support, payroll, human resource administration, and company secretarial services to both local and international clients.

We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and motivated Auditor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a good understanding of auditing and financial reporting standards, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in client acceptance procedures, including risk assessments and preliminary analytical reviews.

Conduct audit fieldwork in accordance with approved audit plans and established audit methodologies.

Perform audit procedures such as sampling, testing, and preparation of Audit Working Papers (AWPs).

Identify audit issues, conduct necessary research, and communicate findings with clients and engagement team members.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a recognised professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent recognised by MIA).

Minimum 1 year of audit experience preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as training will be provided.

Good understanding of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and audit practices is an advantage.

Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced working environment.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Chinese, as the role requires handling Chinese-speaking clients and counterparts.
