Job summary

FOZL Corporate Services (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru is seeking an Accountant / Assistant Accountant to own a portfolio of client accounts, handling bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, tax work and XBRL filing. You will work closely with senior staff in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with responsibilities spanning month-end closes and client liaison.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; a Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting or professional qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or professional qualification.
• 2–3 years of experience in an accounting firm preferred; fresh graduates welcome.
• Audit background welcome and beneficial.
• Mandarin proficiency is vital for liaison with Mandarin-speaking counterparts.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts and deliver reliable service.
• Prepare unaudited/audited financial statements for clients.
• Enter transactions and perform bookkeeping, including bank reconciliations.
• Support client relationships and respond to requests professionally.
• Ensure timely tax and XBRL filing for clients.
• Execute client work under guidance of senior staff.
• Adhere to company procedures and policies.
