Envision Digital Technologies SDN BHD is seeking a Senior Accountant (AP & AR) to own the cash cycle, invoicing, collections, and payments. You will work with the Treasurer and finance teams across Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan to keep cash flow healthy and margins protected.

The role demands 5+ years of accounting, ACCA/CA, multi-currency reconciliation, and strong Excel skills. Hybrid work from Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur, with Monday and Friday WFH.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• 2 years owning month-end close or preparing financial statements.
• High-volume, multi-currency reconciliation across multiple systems.
• Built or fixed finance processes, not just followed them.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills including SUMIFS, XLOOKUP, pivot tables.

Responsabilités

• Client invoicing and collections (AR) duties and review invoices.
• Review vendor invoices and sign off payment batches.
• Plan staggered payment releases to optimize cash flow.
• Prepare monthly P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet.
• Provide finance input on client and vendor contracts.
• Collaborate with finance teams across MY, SG and TW.
• Coach Accounting Executive and support automation initiatives.

Senior Accountant (AP & AR) – Finance Operations

Where cash strategy meets real accountability

Most accountants report the numbers. You'll decide what to do with them.

At Envision Digital Technologies, we run OpenAPI, a platform that moves cross-border transactions in multiple currencies, across FOREX, for clients and partners around the world. Money moves fast here, and so do we. We're looking for a Senior Accountant who wants to own both sides of the cash cycle: what comes in from clients and what goes out to vendors.

You won't be buried in a back-office queue. You'll sit alongside our Treasurer, shaping the questions that matter: What do we pay first? How much? When? And how do we balance payments against collections to keep cash flow healthy?

What you'll own

Client invoicing and collections (AR)

Review every client invoice before it goes out, so the numbers tie before they leave the team

Make sure every active client is invoiced on time each cycle (by the 5th of the month)

Run weekly aging reports, chase overdue payments and accelerate with data, not guesswork

Resolve billing queries with Sales and Account Managers, and hold your position when the numbers say so

Check vendor invoices against our records and resolve exceptions

Review and sign off each payment batch (vendor, amount, currency) before it goes to the Treasurer

Plan staggered payment releases so outstanding payables are paid in the right order, at the right time

Keep the payables ledger tied out every month

Protecting our margin

Our clients pay us a share of the gross revenue (GGR) generated through the platform, at an agreed rate (PT%). We pay our vendors their own share.

Your job is to make sure the rate we charge always stays above what we pay, and to flag any gap early, with the impact quantified.

Reporting and strategy

Prepare the monthly P&L, cash flow statement and balance sheet

Prepare vendor payment packs and finance briefings for the Treasurer

Give finance input on client and vendor contracts: rates, currencies, payment and credit terms

Work with finance teams across Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan on the business plan and forecast

Build and document the processes Finance Operations runs on (invoicing, reconciliation, payments, month-end close), and work with our product team on automation

Review and coach the Accounting Executive

Who you are

A degree in Accounting or Finance, or a professional qualification (ACCA / CA)

5+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years owning month-end close or preparing financial statements yourself

Proven high-volume, multi-currency reconciliation experience across more than one system

Someone who has built or fixed a finance process, not only followed one

Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills (SUMIFS, XLOOKUP, pivot tables, large data exports of 10,000+ rows)

Skeptical of numbers until they tie, with the confidence to challenge and present your view to senior stakeholders

A plus if you have

Experience in payments, fintech or revenue-share / usage-based billing

Experience reviewing or supervising others' work

Zoho Books and basic SQL

Real ownership. Work towards managing the entity's full P&L, cash flow, business plan and forecast, with finance team support across MY, SG and TW

A clear growth path. This is a lead-track role with a defined route to Finance Operations Team Lead

A seat at the table. Direct exposure to the Treasurer and to the Operations Manager, who leads our product commercial strategy across regions

Hybrid work. Work from home on Mondays and Fridays; in the office in Bangsar South Tuesday to Thursday, 9am – 6pm
