Job summary

E-Outsource Asia Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced accounting leader to manage the full spectrum of accounting and finance activities for APAC entities. The role emphasizes timely closing, robust management reporting, and strong internal controls.

You will coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and cross-functional teams, prepare monthly and annual statements, GST filings, and work hands-on with SAP. A diploma/degree in accounting with at least 8 years of experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full spectrum of accounting/finance functions for entities in APAC.
• Prepare and close monthly and annual financial statements.
• Produce timely management reporting within deadlines.
• Analyse client records and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Assist in Year-End Audit and Tax Return filings, GST reporting.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare audit schedules.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and internal/external parties.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and legislations; handle ad-hoc tasks.

Job description

Shared services accounting function for multinational companies across Asia Pacific.

Responsible for full spectrum of accounting/finance functions and management reporting for entities assigned

Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements

Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly management reporting within the stipulated deadlines

Analyses client records and contact them with respect to outstanding invoices

Assist in Year-End Audit and Tax Return Fillings

Assists in quarterly GST reporting

Perform monthly bank reconciliations

Prepare audit schedules and liaise with auditors on audit related issues

Coordinate and liaise with internal & external parties (auditors, tax agents) to support all finance related activities

Support and ensure compliance with all legislative requirement & standards

Monitor and ensure compliance with internal controls

To perform any ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Profile

Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance

At least 8 years of working experience in the related field

Multi-tasking, able to work independently with self initiative

Meticulous and keen eye for details; strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsible, reliable, good working ethics

Ability to work within tight timelines

Work Knowledge of SAP system, a plus
