Job summary

Transgrid Ventures Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia seeks an experienced Accountant to manage day‑to‑day accounting operations, full sets of accounts and bank reconciliations for multiple construction projects.

You will prepare monthly journals, maintain financial reports, monitor creditors ageing, assist audits and tax matters, and liaise with banks. Excellent English, SST knowledge and basic SQL skills are preferred to support our finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Good English writing and speaking skills.
• Experience with accounting software and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Perform day to day accounting operations.
• Maintain proper financial reports and filing systems.
• Handle monthly journal entries and full sets of accounts.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation.

• Track, report and categorize cost and other expenses in construction business.

To handle Letter of Credit and banking facilities. (Import / Export)

Must experience in e-invoicing and dealing with customs

Exposure in foreign exchange booking to all transaction related to overseas suppliers and/or project related

Must have knowledge in Sales and Service Tax (SST) such as reimbursement for our client. We deal mainly with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) and private clients

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

Performing day to day accounting operations.

Prepare monthly bank reconciliation.

Monitoring Creditors ageing accounts.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Must possess Bachelor Degree/Professional Degree in Accounting or equivalent.

Good in English command ; writing & speaking.

Good working attitude, problem solving and good communication skill

Must have experience in Accounting softwareSQL (added knowledge )

Able to work with minimum supervision and meet deadline

Experienced liaison with bank
