Job summary

YEOH YEN KEONG SDN. BHD. is seeking a Senior Account Executive to manage full sets of accounts, monthly closings, bank reconciliations and financial reporting.

You will handle journal entries, depreciation, hire purchase and loan accounts, delivering P&L and balance sheet schedules. The role requires a Diploma/ Degree in Accounting with at least 3 years of full set accounts experience, and proficiency in SQL Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of full set accounts experience.
• Proficient in SQL Accounting Software and Excel.
• Familiar with AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle full sets of accounts, including monthly closing, bank reconciliations and financial reporting
• Manage journal entries, accruals, depreciation, hire purchase and term loan accounts
• Prepare Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets and annual audit schedules
• Liaise with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits
• Monitor bank balances, cash flow and payment schedules
• Verify supplier invoices, statements and company expenses
• Arrange timely payments to local and overseas suppliers
• Review customer statements, aging reports and outstanding balances
• Follow up on overdue payments and prepare collection forecasts
• Review and supervise accounting transactions prepared by junior accounting staff

About you

Familiar with AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation and financial reporting

Familiarity with Malaysia's E-Invoicing requirements
