Job summary

Zeoniq Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Account Executive to support daily accounting and finance operations and help drive regional growth in Malaysia. You will assist the Finance Manager with reporting, cash flow management, SST/MFRS compliance, and coordinating with auditors and external parties, including consolidation across regional offices.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Accounting, 5+ years of experience, professional qualifications, and strong English/Bahasa Malaysia

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, or MIA) are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysia tax regulations (SST) and financial reporting standards (MFRS).

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Review and ensure timely closing of monthly accounts.
• Coordinate with auditors, bankers, and external parties.

• Support financial analysis for business planning and decision-making.
• Supervise and mentor junior finance/accounting staff.
• Assist in group reporting and consolidation across regional offices (SG, PH, VN, ID, TH).

Zeoniq Malaysia Sdn Bhd is a fast-growing provider of innovative Point-of-Sale (POS) software and hardware solutions, serving clients across Malaysia and Southeast Asia. We are expanding and looking for a driven Senior Account Executive to support our finance operations and regional growth.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Finance Manager in overseeing daily accounting and finance operations
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Manage and monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting
• Review and ensure timely closing of monthly accounts
• Handle tax matters including SST submissions and liaising with tax agents
• Coordinate with auditors, bankers, and other external parties
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls and compliance practices
• Support financial analysis for business planning and decision-making
• Supervise and mentor junior finance/accounting staff
• Assist in group reporting and consolidation across regional offices (e.g., SG, PH, VN, ID, TH)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in an accounting related role are preferred.
• Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MIA) is an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of Malaysia tax regulations, SST, and financial reporting standards (e.g., MFRS)
• Experience with accounting systems (e.g., AutoCount or similar)
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive with strong organizational skills
• Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines (in a fast-paced environment)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus)
