Job summary

MESRA FARM KKB is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our team in Puchong, Selangor. You will lead key client accounts within our Financial Accounting & Reporting function, delivering high-quality accounting services and insights.

The role requires 5–7 years of financial accounting experience, ACCA/CA or equivalent, and strong knowledge of Malaysian and international standards. You will mentor junior staff and liaise with clients to tailor accounting solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CA, or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Proven expertise in preparing and reviewing financial statements under Malaysian accounting standards and international standards.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Supervising junior accounting staff and providing mentoring on accounting practices and technical matters.

• Liaising with clients to understand their financial requirements and tailoring solutions to meet their needs.
• Ensuring timely completion of accounting deliverables and adhering to project deadlines.

• Identifying opportunities to enhance service offerings and improve operational efficiency.

What we're looking for

Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CA, or equivalent recognised qualification

Proven expertise in preparing and reviewing financial statements under Malaysian accounting standards and international standards

Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex accounting matters to non-financial stakeholders

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications

Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and supervise junior staff

Client-facing experience and a track record of building strong professional relationships

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Willingness to continually update knowledge of accounting standards and best practices
