Job summary

ALVA Holding Sdn Bhd, a leading automotive window films and car detailing service provider with outlets across Malaysia, is seeking an experienced accountant to manage the accounting system and maintain a complete set of accounts for the assigned companies.

Responsibilities include AP/AR, bank reconciliations, monthly financial statements, general ledger, month-end closing, consolidation accounts, intercompany reconciliation and liaising with auditors and internal teams to ensure accuracy and

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining a complete set of accounts for multiple entities.
• Strong knowledge of AP/AR processes and invoicing workflows.
• Proficient in bank reconciliations and financial data accuracy.
• Experience with month-end closing and consolidation accounts.
• Ability to prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Capable of liaising with auditors and internal departments on accounting issues.

• Handle debtors and creditors accounts and review statements of accounts.
• Process and monitor supplier payments and staff claims for timely settlement.
• Ensure proper filing of all accounting records and supporting documents.
• Assist in month-end closing including consolidation accounts and intercompany reconciliation.
• Prepare and maintain consolidated accounts for the group during month-end closing.
• Ensure accounting entries and transactions comply with policies and standards.

Job description

Manage the accounting system and maintain a complete set of accounts for the assigned companies.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

Perform bank account reconciliations and prepare monthly reconciliation statements.

Prepare and maintain accurate monthly financial statements, management reports and general ledger reports in a timely manner.

Handle debtors and creditors accounts, including preparation and review of statements of accounts.

Compile and analyze accounting information to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.

Process and monitor payments for supplier invoices, purchases and staff claims to ensure timely settlement.

Ensure proper maintenance, documentation and filing of all accounting records and supporting documents.

Assist in month-end closing, including preparation of consolidation accounts and intercompany reconciliation.

Prepare and maintain consolidated accounts for the group during month-end closing.

Ensure accounting entries and transactions are properly recorded and comply with company policies and accounting standards.

Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, customers, auditors and other relevant parties on accounting-related matters when required.

Perform any other accounting duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior.
