Job summary

U Mobile Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Specialist, 5G Network Slicing to manage and automate the end-to-end lifecycle of 5G network slices, ensuring reliable service delivery and SLA compliance through orchestration and operations.

You will work across RAN, Core and Transport, design templates, integrate slicing platforms, and perform platform operations including incident resolution and change management to ensure high availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in 5G networks, network slicing, orchestration, automation, or related technologies.
• Experience with network slicing platforms, virtualization, cloud-native technologies, and system integration.
• Strong understanding of 5G architecture, network slicing, service management, APIs, automation tools, and RAN/Core/Transport networks.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of network slices from planning to decommissioning.
• Coordinate network slice components across RAN, Core, and Transport domains to deliver services.
• Monitor performance, ensure SLA compliance, and automate issue resolution.
• Design and maintain network slice templates aligned with customer requirements.
• Integrate slicing and orchestration platforms to automate provisioning and improve efficiency.
• Perform platform operations including incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and change management.
