Job summary

Kanry Search is seeking a Test Technician in Malaysia to perform functional testing and burn-in on semiconductor equipment, ensuring compliance with work instructions and test specifications. The role requires assembling, calibrating, and configuring wafer-handling robots and modules, utilizing diagnostic tools and software.

Candidates should have a Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and at least 3 years in related fields.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in electronic or mechanical assembly, testing, or manufacturing.
• Ability to use hand tools, measuring equipment and basic test instruments.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing and burn-in tests on semiconductor equipment according to work instructions.
• Assemble, set up, adjust and calibrate semiconductor equipment, including wafer-handling robots and modules.
• Use testing tools, diagnostic software and approved test procedures to check equipment performance.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic equipment faults, and report complex issues to senior technicians or engineers.
• Follow engineering drawings, electrical diagrams and test specifications to ensure accurate testing.
• Record test results, equipment performance and technical issues in relevant systems.
• Work with production and engineering teams to improve testing processes and support daily production activities.
• Follow cleanroom, ESD and workplace safety procedures, including 5S and Lean Manufacturing practices, and assist with other assigned tasks.
