Job summary

Kanry Search in Malaysia is seeking a Test Technician to join a leading US-based semiconductor robotics company located in Pasir Gudang, Johor. You will conduct final equipment testing, assemble and calibrate wafer robots, and perform checks to ensure compliance with standards.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in testing or manufacturing, with SPM or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics. The role is full-time with rotating shifts; salary starts at RM2,500 up to RM3,800, plus AWS, VB+, AL, transport

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or Diploma, preferably in Electrical, Electronics or related engineering fields.
• At least 3 years of experience in equipment testing, electronic/mechanical assembly or manufacturing.
• Practical experience in equipment testing and troubleshooting is mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of semiconductor machinery, testing methods and calibration procedures.
• Proficient in using hand tools, diagnostic devices and measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct final equipment testing and burn-in procedures according to established standards.
• Assemble, configure and adjust semiconductor equipment, including wafer robots and related modules.
• Perform functional checks, calibration and equipment testing based on approved procedures.
• Utilise diagnostic tools and software to gather test data and detect equipment abnormalities.
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues and refer complex faults to engineers.
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics and technical instructions.
• Maintain accurate records of test results, equipment faults and inspection findings.
• Comply with workplace safety, ESD, cleanroom and 5S requirements.

Job Responsibilities
