Job summary

MNC manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a technician to perform end-of-line testing, burn-in tests, and basic assembly of semiconductor equipment. You will calibrate machinery, including wafer-handling robots, and execute established test plans to verify performance.

The role requires interpreting engineering drawings and SOPs, with a focus on quality and safety within a lean manufacturing environment. Minimum 3 years in electronics or mechanical assembly and testing are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in electronic or mechanical assembly, testing, or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions and SOPs to maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-of-line testing and burn-in tests on semiconductor equipment according to procedures and customer specs.
• Carry out basic assembly, setup, adjustment and calibration of semiconductor equipment, including wafer-handling robots and module subassemblies.
• Execute test plans and procedures to verify equipment functionality and performance.
• Use diagnostic tools and testing software to identify basic faults and escalate complex issues.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and test specifications to ensure accurate testing.
• Maintain accurate records of test results and equipment performance.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to support process improvements and Lean manufacturing.
• Ensure compliance with cleanroom, ESD, safety, and 5S standards.
