Job summary

Brooks Automation Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Quality Engineer to establish and sustain robust quality systems across manufacturing, collaborating with R&D, operations, and supply chain to ensure products meet specifications and customer expectations.

You will lead quality control, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and tools like FMEA, DOE, and PPAP, while mentoring junior staff and supporting new product introductions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering with semiconductor or manufacturing focus.
5–7 years of relevant quality experience in semiconductor/manufacturing.
CQE/CRE certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain quality control and assurance processes across manufacturing.
Lead internal and external audits to ensure ISO 9001 compliance.
Investigate product failures using structured tools (FMEA, 8D) and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with R&D, production, maintenance, and supply chain to drive continuous improvement.
Monitor quality metrics (yield, defect rates) and report trends to stakeholders.
Lead and mentor junior quality engineers and inspectors.
