Job summary

Globetronics Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Business & Operations Director to steer growth, operational excellence and profitability in the semiconductor manufacturing space.

You will lead cross‑functional teams across operations, manufacturing, customer management, finance and supply chain to meet business objectives. The role requires a strong track record in P&L, budgeting, cost control and strategic planning, with ability to drive revenue growth and improve yield, OEE and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in semiconductor, OSAT or manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in business management and manufacturing operations leadership.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, operations, and supply chain.
• Demonstrated experience in P&L management, budgeting, cost control, and business planning.
• Strong track record in driving revenue growth, profitability, productivity, yield, quality, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for overall business and manufacturing operations.
• Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, productivity, and growth.
• Lead operational performance across production, quality, engineering and customer requirements.
• Establish and monitor KPIs including revenue, yield, OEE, productivity, cost, quality, delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Drive cost optimization, capacity utilization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop annual operating plans, budgets, manpower plans, capacity strategies and forecasts.
• Lead P&L management, cost control and financial performance improvement.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities and growth areas; lead customer engagement and negotiations.
• Ensure manufacturing meets customer requirements, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, Finance, HR and others to achieve objectives.
• Develop and mentor senior management and foster high-performance culture.
• Lead risk management, business continuity and operational improvement programs.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, ESD, safety, quality, and semiconductor industry requirements.
• Report performance, risks and strategic initiatives to senior management.
