Job summary

Carsem (M) Sdn. Bhd, a leading semiconductor packaging and test services provider, is seeking a Production Planner to develop and maintain detailed production schedules for NPI and mass production.

The role requires coordinating with Engineering, Production, and Procurement to ensure material readiness and timeline adherence. You will monitor WIP, cycle time, and output, identify risks, and drive recovery plans while maintaining accurate BOMs, work instructions, and quality records across

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operational Research, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years in semiconductor planning or related domain.
• Proficient in Excel and ERP or planner systems.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Solid understanding of production workflows and documentation control.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain detailed lot schedules to support production planning and ensure on-time delivery of orders.
• Coordinate for NPI builds (ES / Qualification / Ramp / SOD) and readiness.
• Align schedules with Engineering, Production, and Procurement for material readiness and technical needs.
• Foster cross-functional communication to resolve issues, mitigate risks, and maintain departmental alignment.
• Monitor daily production progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions to protect timelines.
• Maintain accurate planning data in ERP / MES systems and ensure documentation accuracy.
