Job summary

Carsem (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Production Planning professional to develop and manage detailed lot schedules to support on-time delivery.

You will coordinate with Engineering, Production, and Procurement for material readiness and technical requirements, while ensuring accurate documentation in ERP/MES. Responsibilities include monitoring daily production progress, mitigating risks, and driving continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in a related field is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in semiconductor planning or related field.
• Proficient in Excel, ERP or planner systems.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Solid understanding of production workflows and documentation control.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive problem-solving and analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain detailed lot schedules to support production planning and ensure on-time delivery of orders.
• Coordinate for NPI builds (ES / Qualification / Ramp / SOD).
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, and Procurement to align schedules, material readiness, and technical requirements.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication to resolve operational issues and mitigate risks.
• Monitor day-to-day production progress and implement corrective actions to protect timelines.
• Maintain accuracy of BOMs, work instructions, and supporting records in ERP/MES.
• Track production performance, risks, issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare regular progress reports for management and customers with clear status and milestones.
• Monitor WIP, output, cycle time and adjust plans to meet targets.
• Track and manage NPI milestones and recovery plans.
