Job summary

Ichor Systems is expanding its manufacturing team in Singapore and is seeking an Engineering Assistant to support assembly and testing of precision semiconductor equipment. You will work with engineering drawings, build gas panels, and perform leak checks in a cleanroom environment on a 12-hour day/night shift.

We welcome candidates with NITEC or Diploma in Engineering and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience; hands-on training and internships are also considered.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret schematic and mechanical drawings to carry out assembly work accurately.
• Work in a cleanroom manufacturing environment with emphasis on safety and housekeeping.
• Hands-on experience with gas panel or gas box assembly is preferred.
• Willingness to support overtime and weekend work as required.
• Strong quality mindset and teamwork to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly builds and testing according to specifications, drawings and work instructions.
• Support gas panel building from pallet assembly to leak checks and functional testing.
• Read and interpret schematic and mechanical drawings for accurate assembly.
• Maintain cleanroom discipline and safety practices.
• Collaborate with team to achieve production, quality and delivery targets.
• Follow EH&S requirements and assess risks associated with activities.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement to reduce waste and improve quality, cost and productivity.
