Job summary

Semicon MNC in Singapore is seeking an Equipment Engineer to lead assembly and testing of highly precise modules and systems. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, vacuum and pneumatic issues, review procedures, and drive process improvements.

The role demands hands-on coaching of trainees and support for new production introductions. The position is permanent, requires 3–5 years in semiconductor, and a Diploma or higher in engineering/electronics.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma and above in any Engineering / Electronics related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in semiconductor industry; experience in mechanical, electrical, vacuum and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead assembly and testing activities for complex modules and systems with high precision requirements.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across mechanical, electrical, vacuum and pneumatic systems.
• Review and optimize work instructions, test procedures and assembly processes.
• Ensure data integrity and analysis of MES data to support performance improvement.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching and on job training to trainees / juniors.
• Support new production introduction, engineering change, qualification builds and process validation.
• Maintain strict compliance with safety protocols and safe work practices.
• Support cross-training across product lines as directed

Education

Diploma in Engineering / Electronics or related field
