Job summary

People Profilers Pte Ltd seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, service and troubleshoot semiconductor equipment at customer sites in Kulim, Malaysia. You will read schematics, use diagnostic tools, and provide technical support to customers and internal teams.

Excellent communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; willingness to travel internationally for training in the USA, Singapore or Japan is expected. Cleanroom attire and safe work practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma or Degree in any discipline; engineering qualification preferred.
• Communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Basic knowledge of electrical diagnostic instruments and hand tools.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot electromechanical equipment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office, Excel and Windows.
• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Capable of working in a semiconductor cleanroom and wearing cleanroom attire.
• Willing to undergo training in the USA, Singapore or Japan.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, servicing, and troubleshooting of semiconductor equipment at customer sites.
• Carry out field service activities and ensure equipment operates effectively.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical equipment issues.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Use electrical diagnostic instruments and hand tools for equipment inspection and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support and communicate professionally with customers and internal teams.
• Follow safety procedures and customer requirements in a semiconductor cleanroom environment.
• Attend on-the-job training (OJT) at customer facilities and overseas training when required.
