Contacthings Solution Sdn Bhd is seeking a field service engineer to install, commission and service advanced semiconductor assembly equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose complex issues, perform preventive maintenance, and train operators while acting as the main technical interface for clients.

Prerequisites include a Diploma or Bachelor's in a related engineering field and 3–5 years of hands-on field service experience in semiconductor manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on field service or equipment engineering experience in semiconductor assembly or electronics manufacturing.

Responsabilités

• Install, calibrate, and integrate complex semiconductor assembly and packaging machinery on-site.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and software issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, checks, and system upgrades for productivity and yield.
• Act as primary technical interface for customers with guidance and basic operator training.
• Document service activities and spare parts usage in CRM/ERP systems.
• Provide feedback to engineering and R&D on reliability and design improvements.
