Job summary

Teras Impiana Sdn Bhd is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to manage electrical installation and tool hook‑up works at a semiconductor manufacturing facility. You will plan, coordinate and supervise electrical works, ensuring safety, quality and schedule alignment with approved drawings and specs.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant electrical construction experience in industrial facilities or semiconductor projects.
• Experience in electrical tool hook‑up, LV distribution, cable containment and testing.
• Able to read single‑line diagrams, schedules and construction specs.
• Fluent with AutoCAD, Excel and project planning tools.
• Strong coordination and communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willing to work shutdowns, weekends, night shifts or extended hours.
• Must possess a valid driving licence and be willing to travel or relocate.

Responsibilities

• Plan manpower, materials, tools, equipment and subcontractor requirements.
• Coordinate electrical activities with client, main contractor, consultants and vendors.
• Attend kick‑off, coordination and progress meetings and site inspections.
• Identify issues and implement corrective actions for safety, schedule and quality.
• Manage electrical installation including cable trays, LV, terminations and testing.
• Plan and coordinate semiconductor tool hook‑up activities and energisation.
• Prepare or review method statements, risk assessments and permit‑to‑work.
• Prepare progress reports and quality documentation.
