Job summary

Intel Corporation in Malaysia (Kulim and Penang) seeks a Construction Project Manager to lead major industrial facilities and tool installation projects. This role reports to the Senior Construction Manager and requires a strong team leadership, risk management and adherence to safety standards.

The ideal candidate holds a engineering-related degree with 4+ years of PM experience in large-scale builds; PMP is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related technical field with 4+ years experience in Construction project management on major industrial facilities and large scope base build construction projects and/or tool equipment installation.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related technical field with 3+ years of experience in Construction project management on major industrial facilities and large scope base build construction projects and/or tool equipment installation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver construction projects using multiple delivery and compensation strategies, from initiation through closeout.
• Ensure projects comply with Construction Management Practices and SOPs across mechanical, process, electrical, IT and related systems.
• Interact with customer management, resource plan the project, and provide direction to construction teams for integrated planning and objective achievement.
• Promote and drive a safety culture of caring across all project sites and planning stages.
