Job summary

Intel Foundry Construction and Sourcing (FCS) seeks a construction project leader to manage large industrial facility projects onsite in Kulim, Malaysia, reporting to the Senior Construction Manager.

You will oversee scope, schedule, budgets, contracts and safety programs to deliver complex base-builds and tool installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or related technical field with 4+ years in construction PM on major industrial facilities and large base build projects and/or tool equipment installation.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field with 3+ years of experience in construction PM on major facilities and/or tool installation.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) is an advantage.
• Semiconductor experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver construction projects using multiple delivery and compensation strategies from initiation to closeout.
• Ensure compliance with Construction Management Practices and SOPs across disciplines including mechanical, process, electrical, IT, and architecture.
• Coordinate with customer management and internal teams to develop an integrated project plan achieving objectives.
• Promote safety culture and quality programs throughout the project lifecycle.

This is an onsite position at the campus in Penang or Kulim, Malaysia reporting to the Senior Construction manager.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver construction projects using multiple project delivery and compensation strategies. From project initiation through closeout, including the development and management of project scope, schedules, budgets, contracting and compensation strategies, EHS, quality program, project controls and change management.
• Ensure that the project is at all times in compliance with Construction Management Practices and to standard operating procedures. Projects include disciplines such as mechanical, process, bulk gas, electrical, architectural, water, process specific support systems (PSSS), IT and I/C.
• Interact and partner with customer management; Resource plan the project; Provide direction to the construction project teams; Have a sound knowledge of the project and construction contracts; Partner with Tool Install, Facilities Operations and Factory to develop and manage an integrated plan that will achieve project objectives and commitments.
• Build and drive safety Culture of Caring in every business environment, office to the construction sites, and from front-end planning to construction execution.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related technical field with 4+ years experience in Construction project management on major industrial facilities and large scope base build construction projects and/or tool equipment installation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related technical field with 3+ years of experience in Construction project management on major industrial facilities and large scope base build construction projects and/or tool equipment installation.
• Project Manager Professional (PMP) is an advantage.
• Semiconductor experience
