Job summary

TF-AMD Penang is seeking an Assembly Equipment Engineer for its Bayan Lepas site. You will monitor, analyze and optimize semiconductor assembly equipment, driving improvements in reliability, throughput and product quality.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, documentation updates, and collaboration with production, process, and quality teams. Flexible shift support and a focus on safety are essential in this high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a technical background in semiconductor assembly equipment setup, maintenance, troubleshooting and optimization.
• Experience with data analysis, problem solving and continuous improvement using basic statistics.
• Familiarity with assembly processes and production workflows in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment performance, perform root-cause analysis for downtime and yield issues.
• Lead corrective and preventive maintenance activities to improve reliability and throughput.
• Update equipment documentation and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Support new equipment installation, qualification and tech transfer activities.
