ASE Electronics Malaysia in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking a production line support professional for Assembly Equipment. You will help maintain equipment OEE, manage downtime, and drive efficiency improvements on the line.

Responsibilities include monitoring performance, escalation for engineering support if needed, and driving safety/cost-reduction projects. Fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia are required, with shift adaptability as part of daily work.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Experience with assembly equipment is advantageous.
• Applicants must be able to operate in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Fully accountable to maintain required equipment OEE and downtime performance.
• Equipment conversion < 2hrs and material preparation.
• Provide feedback and request engineering support when needed.
• Monitor equipment performance and implement improvement plans.
• Own a project for Safety/UPH Improvement/Cost reduction/Minimize downtime.
• Control equipment downtime < 9% and achieve IR yield > 99.5%.
• Support qualification work for Engineering/NPI and update logs daily.
• Record setup/conversion data and report every shift.
• Update e-log sheet in factory work system and perform daily temp profiling for reflow oven.
• Collect EBR data and update SPC in factory system.
