Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. seeks an on-site Technical Support Engineer to assist semiconductor customers across Malaysia. You will install, evaluate, test, and validate products, troubleshoot issues, and collect performance data to drive improvements.

You will collaborate with engineering teams, travel to customer sites as required, and respond quickly to urgent on-site issues to minimise downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Preferably 1–3 years of relevant experience in semiconductor, electronics manufacturing or test engineering.
• Experience in application support, test operations, failure analysis or quality assurance is an advantage.
• Good communication, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel to customer sites within Malaysia and support urgent on-site issues when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical and application support to semiconductor customers.
• Assist with product installation, evaluation, testing and customer acceptance.
• Troubleshoot product and testing issues to minimise operational downtime.
• Collect and analyse product performance data.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve customer concerns and support product improvements.
