Job summary

Johnson Controls in Malaysia is seeking a Security Systems Maintenance Engineer to join our critical facilities team in Penang. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot access control and CCTV systems, and ensure documentation is complete and timely.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in electrical & electronics or related field, strong problem-solving and customer communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical & electronics or related field.
• 1-2 years in Security Systems maintenance & support.
• Experience with Access Control and CCTV systems preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good report writing and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance according to contract requirements.
• Inspect, test, and verify operation of security systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues; replace defective components as needed.
