Job summary

Convergint Malaysia is seeking an experienced engineer to install, test, commission, and program security equipment according to company standards. The role focuses on delivering high-quality projects and ensuring customer satisfaction on site.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Computer, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in security/electronic projects.
• Basic IT knowledge in security hardware, networks and databases.
• Experience with access control, CCTV and alarm systems is advantageous.
• Exposure to Lenel, GE, Cisco and S2 systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication and client-service skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and coordinate with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, commission, and program security equipment.
• Manage projects to ensure on-time completion.
• Provide technical support to Sales and other departments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve security system issues.
• Conduct on-site client training.
• Use AutoCAD to design security layouts and building diagrams.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security concepts.
