Job summary

6255 UOB Innovation Hub 2 Sdn Bhd is hiring a Senior Site Reliability/DevOps Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to strengthen our engineering and security platform teams. You will own automation, observability, and incident response, bridging development and operations in a regulated banking environment.

The role requires 5–8 years in SRE/DevOps or related fields, with strong Linux/Windows, Python or PowerShell, and hands-on experience with Splunk, Grafana, and CyberArk.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in engineering/Computer Science / IT/Cyber Security from a recognized institution.
• Cyber Security product certifications will be favorable although not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain SIEM, log, XDR and related security platforms.
• Develop automation using Python, Ansible, APIs and automation frameworks.
• Implement and maintain observability dashboards using Splunk, Grafana and Prometheus.
• Define and track SLIs, SLOs and Error Budgets for critical services.
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs and knowledge management artifacts.
• Support production handover and operational readiness reviews with Engineering and Solution Architecture teams.
• Participate in on-call support, disaster recovery and resilience testing.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and support SIEM, Syslog, XDR, HIPS, CyberArk, SOAR, TIP, NDR, IPS and related security platforms.
• Perform proactive monitoring, health checks, incident response, problem management and root cause analysis.
• Develop automation using Python, Ansible, APIs and Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
• Implement and maintain observability dashboards using Splunk, Grafana and monitoring platforms.
• Define and track SLIs, SLOs and Error Budgets for critical services.
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs and knowledge management artifacts.
• Support production handover and operational readiness reviews with Engineering and Solution Architecture teams.
• Participate in on-call support, disaster recovery and resilience testing.

Job Requirements

Education

• Diploma/Degree in engineering/Computer Science / IT/Cyber Security from a recognized education institution.

Technical Skills

• 5-8 years experience in SRE, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering or Security Engineering.
• Strong Linux and/or Windows administration skills.
• Experience with Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus or equivalent observability tools.
• Hands-on scripting with Python, PowerShell or equivalent.
• Experience with Ansible, APIs and automation frameworks.
• Good understanding of networking, distributed systems and incident management.
• Experience with CyberArk, XDR, HIPS or SIEM platforms preferred.
