Job Responsibilities

• Engage in day‑to‑day support activities including incident and problem management.
• Perform production deployments and patch activities on the supported applications and servers.
• Collaborate with product support/development teams for permanent resolution and change review – including enhancements, bug fixes, and other types of changes.
• Work with level 1 support to transfer application knowledge, establish standard first‑level recovery processes, system health check monitoring, scheduled activities, and handle common application user queries.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as application, business, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to continuously improve application stability.
• Develop support operational documents summarizing common support issues.
• Develop reports and drive audit RFIs and requirements.
• Develop Linux scripts based on requirements.
• Provide after‑office‑hours standby support and handle emergency recoveries, including managing major incidents of critical services.
• Lead improvement initiatives through influence and strong relationships with managers in other teams.
• Correlate events across multiple systems to proactively surface and resolve deep, underlying issues.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in engineering, Computer Science, IT, or Cyber Security from a recognized educational institution.
• Professional qualification in information security such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or data security product certifications is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Identity Governance 12c, Oracle Database, WebLogic, BI Publisher, Oracle Connectors, Linux, Unix, and Windows Enterprise Server OS, with mixed skills in administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure such as load balancers, firewalls, and SSL.
• Working knowledge of Directory services – LDAP and AD databases.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL and experience writing complex SQL queries, including reporting tools and computational ability.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and frameworks, including ISO 27001 and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
