Job summary

GS Paperboard & Packaging Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Team Lead - Security Services to oversee security personnel, ensure smooth operation of the department, and provide training and development. The role requires knowledge of OSH Act, ISO Management Systems, strong leadership, and ability to respond to emergencies, with reporting duties and collaboration with administration.

Candidates should have at least a diploma or higher, good English, and willingness to work near KLIA area

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma and above or equivalent courses.
• Knowledge in Occupational Safety and Health Act, Factory & Machinery Act, etc.
• Knowledge in ISO Management System and good in decision making.
• Good communication, interpersonal skill, high commitments, high level of team work and ability to interact with staff at all levels.
• Good written and spoken English and ability to write reports.
• Able to work under minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment with high self-commitment and discipline.
• Good leadership skills in motivating and developing people.
• Committed and dedicated to assigned activities by the company.
• Willing to work near KLIA (near Sepang, Banting).

Responsibilities

• Manages, supervises, and coordinates security personnel for efficient operation of the department.
• Provides training and development for security personnel.
• Responds to emergency call-outs on weekends and after regular hours.
• Assists in evaluating Campus Security Agents and reports to ensure compliance with laws and guidelines.
• Reviews security reports to ensure compliance with state, federal, and local ordinances.
• Coordinates assignments and schedules with the Director of Security and Safety Services.
• Provides incident mitigation and response training to Campus Security and Patrol Agents.
• Prepares for training substitutes and evaluates their performance.
• Coordinates emergency and disaster preparedness district-wide for administrators.
• Assists in selecting security personnel and interacts with emergency services responders.
• Interacts with fire and emergency management for incident response and management.
• Analyzes alarm activation reports and directs work orders.
• Attends meetings and serves on committees.
• Performs any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
