Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise associates to follow SOPs.
• Ensure all areas are secured at all times.
• Maintain professionalism and performance of staff on security tasks.
• Conduct investigations and report incidents to management.
• Resolve security issues on site.
• Ensure equipment is functioning and report malfunctions.
• Check CCTV/PA/ERT equipment each shift.
• Inspect firefighting equipment monthly.
• Report major breaches to management immediately.
• Attend training courses as directed.

Assist the Security Manager in planning, directing, controlling, coordinating and participating in the activities of all personnel engaged in securing all the company properties, tenant, guest, employees and clientele to ensure that safety and security procedures are followed.

Primary duties and responsibilities

• To organize and supervise that associates are carry out their tasks as per the standard operating procedure.
• To ensure that all areas are properly and adequately secured at all times.
• To maintain associates’ professionalism, discipline and performance levels while executing security tasks.
• Maintain courteous relations with guest, supplier and associates.
• Conduct investigation on and inform superior or management of incidents involving disturbance, accidents, loss, theft, etc. occurring in the premises and prepare necessary reports and take directive from management.
• To resolve any security issues on site.
• To ensure all equipment and tools provided are in working order.
• To report on malfunctioning security equipment and to alert on routine equipment servicing and maintenance.
• To ensure that proper control and handling of Visitor / Vendors / Contractors document.
• To do checking every shift on the CCTV / PA / ERT equipment to make sure it is functioning.
• To check all firefighting equipment monthly and give report on the condition.
• Attend training course and such other course as may be directed from time to time by the Management.
• To report to Security Manager and other relevant authorities immediately on major security breaches and incidents on site.
To arrive on site at least 15 minutes before the commencement of the shift and not to leave the site until the replacement arrives.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications, experience and skills

• Experience3-4 years’ experience in similar industry.
• Skills/Specialized knowledge: Supervisory, Details, Structured, Organizing, Coordination.
• Familiarity with MS Office applications and email functionalities, particularly MS Excel or Access and ability to generate reports using Pivot Table and work with large data sets
• Ability to adapt to company systems for daily operations and communications
